The Challenges You will assess, treat and prevent physical disability, movement dysfunction, and pain or other symptoms resulting from injury, disease, disability or health related disorders, in order to gain or regain independence with daily activity and improve quality of life. Some examples of the conditions you will see may include neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, geriatric, paediatric & mental health conditions. Physiotherapy interventions may include, but are not limited to, the use of therapeutic exercises, electrical physical agents, advanced technological equipment, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training and functional training. You will be required to educate patients and caregivers to assist in intervention programs to improve conditions. In addition, you will be required to participate in public education, forums and activities on physiotherapy and injury prevention. You are also expected to contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to students and Therapy Assistants.

- Degree
- Registered with the relevant governing body of that profession, if applicable
- Team player, possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient focus, genuine desire to make a difference
- Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning, critical thinking, judgment and decision making in the provision of care
- Passionate about building a healthcare career, inspired to move ahead with challenges, possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, able to thrive in fast paced environment.
