The Singapore Labour Foundation (SLF), a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower, is committed towards its mission to improve the welfare of union members and further the development of the trade union movement. The SLF Group has diversified investments which include portfolio investment, commercial property developments and leisure developments. To support its mission, we are looking for a highly motivated & driven professional to join us. 

Director, Human Resources

Reporting to the CEO of SLF, you will oversee the human resource functions of SLF and its subsidiaries, including Orchid and Aranda Country Club. You will help develop and implement an effective HR infrastructure that covers corporate policies and practices at the Group level. In this role, you are expected to drive the Group's strategic HR intent and ensure alignment of broad policies and practices at the subsidiaries. You are expected to build a strong HR team that possesses the core competencies in talent management and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employees relations. You will drive and execute value added HR services and pro-actively lead improvements in HR initiatives and programmes.

Requirements:

• A good degree from a recognized university                                                   

• At least 15 years of HR experience, of which at least 3 years were accountable for overseeing a full range of HR functions

• Experience in public and private sector will be preferred                  

• Excellent in influencing, communication and interpersonal skills

• Strategic-minded, hands on and thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
